I have so many people to thank!! Thank you to Jen for sending me info on Love Liza and RED DRAGON [I am seriously never going to stop being ecstatic that Phil is going to be in that!], thank you to Justin for emailing me the pic of Phil and Anna Paquin [phil27.jpg on Truly Misc. Page, though it's probably from the premiere party of The Glory of Living], thank you to Lee for submitting another journal for the Reviews section, this time of The Glory of Living. Thank you to Karen for sending me her picture she took of Phil [in Misc Fan Pics] and autograph [Autographs]. By the way folks, please feel free to submit your reviews of Phil's films. I'll post them on the site. That is, his films, his theater work, whatever! It'd be my honor to post them. Anyway, I'm so hyped up on the Red Dragon tip! Word! That is soooo fucking awesome!! Um. So next week is this site's third anniversary. I'm hoping to just sit down and write up some Phil film reviews for you. Maybe I'll get to go out and rent some old skool Phil movies. I dunno. I'm on a David Lynch kick at the moment, actually. So how about a David Lynch film quote??? "I'm seeing something that was always hidden." huh... hard time finding one from there that doens't have the fuck word in it five hundred times. hehe... anyway, if you can tell me what David Lynch film that quote is from then I will think you are wicked brilliant cool. By the way, y'all have to go see the Harry Potter film. Alan Rickman is so damn hot in it, I needed a cold shower after his potions lecture. Hot damn! Well folks, that's all. Oh wait, a reminder, the first of my films that I'm in is set to be released this February. It's only a year later, eh? Right. Peace off.

Good lord! This site is coming up slowly on it's 3rd year anniversary!!! Woo! I should celebrate by renting a whole bunch of Phil films! Or something... I think that an annual Phil convention should be held. Word. Anyway, I am terribly sorry for the lack of updates in the past month. Busy busy is the college life! And I've even got my life planned out through grad school and someday getting my PhD in film. Anyway, the updates today are NEWS, updated the Philmography with The Sweet Spot added. And hey, I'm having trauma over the title 'Owning Mahowny/Malowny/Maloney/Malony' -- I've seen every damn version of this title and it's bugging the shit out of me. I want some finality. Anyway, I have a small picture from that. Thanks to whoever emailed me about it. Also thanks to the folks who referred me to the other new pics: two new Autographs, new sections of pictures from State and Main and Almost Famous press conferences. Two new Truly Misc. pictures. Two pictures of Phil at The 24 Hour Plays. That's always good. No one guessed on that last movie quote. Oh shit, I just had a good one too! Argh. Ok, lemme think... I want to get one from John Cazale cuz I never knew that he had died and I cried when I found out. Ah well. Much love to the memory of John Cazale! Anyway, I have half an hour til I have to catch a bus downtown for a meeting. Take care my phellow phil phans. By the way, I finally saw Boogie Nights! Peace out.

Howdy. New news, and a special new link to Pamela's Portraits. Pamela has several very well done portraits of Phil you should go check out. I am sorry I haven't updated in so long. It's rather difficult to do so what with no internet at home yet. And the only reason I'm able to do so today is cuz I'm covering the office today and only two people have called in so far. So quite a few people got that the last quotes are from Clerks. I love Clerks. I love Mallrats and Dogma and J&SB Strike Back. Chasing Amy is allright too. Anyway, classes are underway here and going just fine. I've been renting more movies than I know what to do with. Here's a random quote for you to guess on: 'You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity' and if that doesn't help, think of a nice fluffy tea-cozy. And a dog. And bullets. And stuff. I own this movie and think it's fucking spectacular. I ought to see if I can find a transcript of the pig monologue and memorize it. And start reciting it on the bus to new students. Muwahahhaha! Anyway, I'll go update the other shit that I update when I update this site. Take care everyone. Make love, not war.

NEW review of The Seagull, thanks to Anne, and a picture of The Seagull SET thanks to Lee!! Yay! I'd like to thank those who politely informed me that I'd messed up my links on the Articles page and send a big **RASPBERRY** to those who told me rudely. Also, no, the quote was not from Wayne's World but was in fact from WAYNE'S WORLD 2!!! Props and kudos and bonus PSH cookies of love to ghostdog for being the first correct guesser... person!!! YAY!!!! Now, with that kind of incentive, who wants to guess on the next quote??? 'I'm a firm believer in the philosophy of a ruling class. Especially since I rule.' and since that's not the most noteworthy quote from that film, I'll give you a second one from the same film: 'You ever notice how all the prices end in nine? Damn, that's eerie...' -- it's a very good movie. But I wouldn't blame y'all if no one can come up with the title. Anyway. Uh... So I was just gunna go... do something productive. bye.

Yo. I've transcribed Phil's Charlie Rose appearance on May 30, 2000. And I got a couple pictures from it, though I was only able to get them from the intro clip, due to computers being temperamental little fuckers. I've also transcribed Phil and John C. Reilly on The Rosie O'Donnell Show on March 9, 2000. I've got the date for the Inside the Actor's Studio appearance also, it was June 4, 2000 was the original air date. So you can see those transcripts on the Articles page, and they're chronologically listed, FYI. I've also got a real treat for y'all -- Another fan review of The Seagull! But it's not JUST a review, it's Lee's journal of the entire Seagull experience! Don't miss it! And don't miss this great opportunity to send me YOUR reviews. I feel like a broken record. I added a little more info on the Philmography about Phil's theater shit. By the way, in the transcripts, I consistantly misspelled Stephen Adly Guirgis and Matthew Warchus. Here, you see their names spelled correctly. There, goddess knows what you'll see. I've been trying to whip up another movie quote. If you were my best friend, you'd get this one: 'A lot of people's girlfriends are in there.' was said to one of Phil's Seagull costars in WHAT movie? Another quote from the same film: 'If you book them, they will come'... *smiles* Come on, folks. I know you've seen this film. I gotta go... do... something. Peace out.

8-28-01
Well, the tail-end of the summer mega-rush updates have started. Today I have for you the following: NEW NEWS!!! Read it now, read it often. NEW ARTICLES! One from January, 2000, one from August 6th, one from Interview Magazine's December 1999 issue -- all thanks to Marcie who posted the links on the PSH-OFF list, and I've transcribed Phil's Inside the Actor's Studio appearance and gotten screencaptures from it. Yay me. I fucking rule. It's too soon to put another quote up and I couldn't come up with one if I tried right now, my brain is so mushy. I will be doing the following in the following week: Transcribing and getting pics from Phil on Charlie Rose, and transcribing his Rosie appearance with John C. Reilly. Unless someone else volunteers to take this on. I was telling my mother today that it is NOT easy being Phil's most dedicated fan. I may go fucking crazy some day. But I know he said 'bless her' about me, so maybe that will entice my sanity to remain with me through the chilly winter of life. Garth, that was a haiku. **peace out** and by the way, i love it when you people email me, i really do. *smiles*

8-27-01
Howdoo. Thanks to the wonderful Alessandra for four pics of her with Phil last October! They've been posted to the fan pictures page under the Misc. section. If you have pics of you and Phil and would like them posted on the site for everyone to see, please let me know!!! Also, I scanned the picture from this week's Entertainment Weekly of the Seagull cast, it's clearly from the same photo shoot as the two other black and white cast photos, but again, it's a different pose! And I've transcribed the blip from the magazine on the news page. The Seagull has finished it's run as far as I know, and I still have no word on whether or not it's going to Broadway or if we'll have to wait a few months for any news on Phil. Well, you'll find out as soon as I do I guess! Anyway, that's about it. Oh! Movie quote! Umm... Jack Nicholson! 'People who talk in metaphors can shampoo my crotch.'... YEEE! Gotta love the Jack. yo. So, bonus hugs and cookies to ANYONE who can write to me and tell what film that is from. It's not that hard folks. I could give you a hint if you like. But I won't! HAH! Say, I went in a used bookstore the other day where I had about $60 in credit and WHAT did I find??? SEVEN Terry Pratchett Discworld novels!!! I have never seen Discworld novels at any other used bookstore in my LIFE! And of course, being that until then I had only owned one (an autographed copy of Masquerade that my friend got me at a Pratchett signing to support The Fifth Elephant though I had read some of the other books), I naturally got them all! I also found two ElfQuests that I KNOW my friend doesn't have and will go berserker when I give to her, and I got the Dick Tracy novel of the film for my best friend. Yo. I rock. And I didn't even have to pay the tax [yay for parents!]. Anyway, also, if you're interested in joining a make-it-up-as-you-go-along religion, I highly reccommend The Cult of Texaquanatal the Lobster God. It's something myself and two other folks are slapping together. It's nice to be able to establish my own alter and make up my own rules. Heheh. So, yuh. Peace out, yo.

8-21-01
Two days in a row!!! I'm almost back to my old self!!! Well, today I have more happy news for rabid NY Phil phans, and more SAD and DEPRESSING news for all of us what can't go to NY whenever we like to see Phil on stage. He's directing The Glory of Living at the MCC theater this fall. Amy, the wonderful Marketing Manager of the Theater emailed me with lots of lovely info on the whole ordeal so all you peeps can get the hookup. *sigh* Also, for the first time in eternity someone has guessed the movie quote!!! Props and bonus Phil cookies to Tara for declaring that, yes indeed, the quote is from FIGHT CLUB!!! Said the illustrious Helena Bonham Carter. Yuh. So let me think of a new quote. 'Um. Suicide, despair, where did our hope go... Lost hope. That's it, lost hope. Yeah, well, you think everything's boring. You know, I mean you wouldn't say that if it was the lost hope diet.' what movie did Jeff Goldblum say this in? He was talking on the phone... I don't even like Jeff Goldblum, I just like the movie and the quote. It's the only film I've liked William Hurt in. And I did like him in it. A LOT. Right oh, so tell me all about it. In the meantime, PSH-ON mighty piglets and I'll catch y'all later.

8-20-01
Did Al Pacino look like Al Pacino in Dick Tracy? He sounded like Al Pacino. But did he look like him? He looked more like Al Pacino in Scent of a Woman. Anyway, so I have my first FAN REVIEW of THE SEAGULL thanks forever to GAYANA!!!! WOOOO!!! You too can submit your reviews of Phil's stage work, or Phil's TV work, or Phil's philms er films. Please do! I'm way desperate here!!! Anyway, that's all the update I have. No one got the last quote so if you can't guess it you're screwed. Today's quote is: I haven't been fucked like that since grade school. What movie is that from? I'll give you a hint -- it's a David Fincher film. There you are! So Phil rocks, I roll. PSH-ON mighty piglets. Peace out.

8-18-01
Oh my lack of god what have i done??? I've updated again in less than a week!!! And let me tell you about it... I've added a NEW autograph picture, a NEW Misc Magazine Picture [from Elle magazine], a NEW page of pictures from THE SEAGULL, NEWS about the SEAGULL and stuff, bio added to the BIO INFO page from Playbill.com, also I've added a list of Phil's theater work to the PHILMOGRAPHY page. I'm hoping for some SEAGULL REVIEWS, people!! Work with me here! I need you, being that you all are fans, to write reviews of Phil's films. I try to do it myself but really, how much of my opinions do you all really want to read? And where the hell is my free time? I'm spending it on movie sets, and stuff. Yeah. And getting deathly ill from eating french toast. I was about to die for two days cuz I ate french toast. Normally, this does not happen to me when I eat french toast, but something strange must have been lurking within this french toast. I should send a letter to the Weekly World News. That paper is SO hilarious. Oh my god. Instant entertainment! *smiles* I love the tabloids. I want to write for them someday. If I ever get famous, I'll send them articles about myself! hehe... Yeah. So anyway, MOVIE QUOTE! Umm... 'What if there is a hell, and they don't want us there?' said Tom Cruise in what movie? You tell me dammit! By the way, I am now seriously persuing the idea of buying my own domain name. So this site will one day be psh.domain.net -- i like .net best, personally. Tho I do hear a few new ones are coming out pretty soon. Right. So if you ever go to see James Van Der Beek in 'The Rules of Attraction', watch for an establishing shot of the girl's dorm, and a person in a green plaid shirt and blue jeans with short hair walking by. That would be me. I got my own scene today. Also, don't forget to watch for me in Slackers. I swear it will be released one day! Anyway, I'm feeling happy about this update. Send in those reviews please!!! Take care peeps, peace out.

8-14-01
Happy August everybody! It doesn't matter much though since no one on earth reads this page, or reads this site apparently. It's appalling the number of people that I get still asking the same old questions which they could easily read the answer to if they'd just take a moment to read the information available here. *tsk* Anyway, I have some news. New name announced for P.T. Anderson's new film, and there's been a length announced on it. 105 minutes. whoa. That's like... not even two hours and shit and you remember how long Magnolia is. Not that I'm complaining. Anyways, so... News. The Seagull is all the rage. But I don't any pictures. Sorry. Anyone have a picture from it they'd like to send in? Wish to hell I could go see it. My back hurts and I need to finish watching Unforgiven. God damn it all to hell and back again. *sigh* Good night, folks.

8-11-01
I know I added some News, I don't think anything else.

7-23-01
Well, above and beyond the fact that today is Phil's 34th birthday and I posted that around the site a bit, and I archived the news page again and moved the Seagull info to the front news page and also reposted the name of the character in The Seagull which Phil is playing... I don't have anything else. No one guessed where the quote is from. I don't think it's cuz you're all fucking idiots *wink* I know you're not. So I believe it is because no one gives a fuck about this page and never reads it. Ah well, such is life. I've had the privelege recently of seeing Snatch. If y'all aren't rabid about Guy Ritchie films, y'all should be. Snatch is even better than Lock Stock. And I am so completely in love with Vinnie Jones. Also, if you have TNT, you really ought to watch The Mists of Avalon, even if it's just to see Edward Atterton as King Arthur and wonder 'Why did the fucking WB cancel Three??' cuz he rocks. Yo. I have mentioned, haven't I, that I have ordained the You Sexy Thing by Hot Chocolate as Phil's theme song? Whenever I hear it and I don't picture Robert Carlyle stripping, I see Phil. *wink* I gotta go now. Take care, all. Peace out.

7-11-01
NEWS! And I've added a table to the left side of the news page to keep important dates up where everyone can see them... Also, to my chagrin I was telling everyone to look at the FAQ to read about Phil's religious affiliations but I had somehow not posted it!!! EEP! So it is now posted but as the information is old and my brain is deteriorating, the information is subject to correction. Also, I have added the two more Phil films I saw to the Misc page list... sadly, though my video editing equiptment is fucked. The program freezes every time I open it. Argh. Frustration. And I can't reinstall it cuz in order to run it with Quicktime 4 you have to have this patch but we don't have a copy of it and we can't run the program without the patch and we can't GET the patch cuz the program company has disowned their old programs. Sucks to be me. But my sister's school time boss might be able to help me out there. This also means that I won't have pics from Charlie Rose or Inside the Actors Studio yet either. Also, I've misplaced my ItAS somewheres or other -- the tape is MIA right now cuz I can't recall what tape I dubbed it onto and if it's on one of my Whose Line tapes then I'm screwed cuz I'll have to watch through about 100 hours of tape to find it. I feel like posting another movie quote for y'all to tell me where it's from... but I'm going to use one from a movie that I already used a quote from the movie of.. but this quote is in the movie AND the TV mini-series... and if you're on the PSH-OFF list, you'll know that I mentioned it recently... "I will not fear, fear is the mindkiller... [fear is the little death that brings total obliteration...]" the bit in brackets never got said in the miniseries, sadly... it's my favorite part of the quote. meep. Anyway, if you know where the quote is from, be the first to email me with the answer!!! And you'll prove that you're smarter than everyone else who DID NOT email me the answer! Aw, whomikiddin? I only ever get one response if I'm lucky. But if you know the answer and are also interested in discussing differences in the movie and series, email me!!! peace out.

7-5-01
Howdy peeps!! Someone or other... I think it was Dhust, guessed correctly on the quote from last time! From Bullets over Broadway!! Thank you!! All right, I'll skip the quote this time around. NEWS!!!! Yay!! And I have a new REVIEW for you from ME of STATE AND MAIN!!! And three new MISC PICTURES!!! And i made a new BANNER to use to LINK TO this site. YES i like typing in CAPITALS every NOW and THEN!! *winks* I hope y'all will find me pics of Phil in The Seagull and write me reviews when it hits the stage, ok? Keep that news coming!!! Take care everyone!!! [PS I borrowed Scent of a Woman and When A Man Loves a Woman from my mom's friend so you can expect more reviews soon... I also need to go back and write reviews for Almost Famous and The Big Lebowski... Toodlezoo!] Peace Out, yo.

6-13-01
I better watch myself! I might start updating more than twice a month!! eep! *wink*smile* So I have some news for you! Both good and bad. Good in that PSH is directing something or other, and bad in that i don't know jack shit about what's up with the release of Last Party 2000. Who knows? You know, I think there was a sequel filmed to Jim Carrey's popular film 'The Mask', but it was never released. Just FYI. These things have been known to happen. It's obvious to me that the appropriate time to release LP2000 is well over and done with. But who knows. ALSO! NEW REVIEW!!! Shelley has submitted a review of FLAWLESS!!! And you can all, as fans, submit your own reviews of Phil's movies for publication on this site!!! Please do! Also, I've had some people writing in with some nominations for PSH lookalikes. If you also feel that Patrick Wilson of Weezer and Keifer Sutherland are PSH lookalikes, please let me know. It will encourage me in my pursuit of ultimate truth. Susanna I believe finally was the only person to write in that the last quote was from The Rocky Horror Picture Show. I'll give you one that has been rattling around in my brain. It's from a Woody Allen movie. A Woody Allen movie in which John Cusack stars. And they say 'Don't speak' a lot. The quote is: "I think you're a degenerative zombie!" and even if you don't know offhand, the Internet Movie Database does exist to solve simple problems like this. SOMEONE respond to me please!!! Anyways, that's the way it all goes. Peace out, yo.

6-1-01
new REVIEW!!! thank you to SHELLEY! feel free to submit YOUR reviews of Phil's movies to be posted on this site!!! Also, news, and a news article. Yay!!! Now, come on people! No one guesses on these quotes anymore! *tsk* Don't tell me there isn't even ONE film buff on this planet that knows what movies these quotes are from??? *sigh* That is all.

5-12-01
HEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOO THERE!!!!!!!!!! I have so much good stuff for you today!!! I have, first, 4 new Truly Misc pictures, 1 new Chris Buck picture, 4 new Talented Mr Ripley pictures, a new FAQ question, dead links have been weeded out, email addresses have been deleted from superfluous pages, newly transcribed article from Empire magazine, lots of NEWS NEWS NEWS!!!! dude, i am just rocking your phil world today!!!!!!! yeeeeeee!!! and no one got the quotes. come on, haven't y'all seen that movie??? really! i can't believe it!!! Ok, here's another one for you: "Darkness must go down the river of night's dreaming Flow morphia slow let the sun and light come streaming into my life, into my life..." come on, now, this one is EASY!!!!!! it's from a song... in a somewhat risque musical... come ON, you know it!!!! get your name published here by being the first kick ass person to email me with the correct answer!!!! and no, it's not from The Big Lebowski!!! heeheee... Anyhow, I am currently planning this for summer: pictures from and transcripts for Inside the Actor's Studio and Charlie Rose. These are my plans. If you can help with these plans, and I don't have to do it all myself, let me know please. I'm also hoping to sit down and do up reviews for The Big Lebowski, Magnolia, Almost Famous, and see some more Phil flicks, and don't forget that you can send me your reviews of Phil's movies and I will post them here, uncensored!!! That is all -- i gotta go transcribe that Empire article that I promised to transcribe for y'all. That really is all.

4-30-01
HI! I am back!!!!! WOOOO! Ok, I know I know I know I was gunna move the site from Tripod, but I don't have the resources to do that right now, so it will stay here until I can do better. I will be adding some pictures and maybe an article or two very soon! I changed the picture of myself on the Misc page as well as the FAQ page. I am slowly changing my name over to Daryn cuz it's very close to Darcy and it's easier than typing out 'Darcy-Ryan' all the time. It combines the names nicely. and I still do go by Darcy of course, as well, it's just FYI, ya see. So news has been somewhat slow lately, other than further discussion of the upcoming possibility of Phil having an official website, The Seagull is happening in June, and Phil's been busy shooting films like the Maloney one, the new PTA film, and Love, Liza obviously. So there's a lot coming up in the next year to look forward to!!! Now, I think a QUOTE would be in order!! Who knows what film this quote is from: "Well *hello* Mr. Fancypants. I got news for you pal. You ain't leadin' but two things right now: Jack and Shit. And Jack left town." ... it's also got this quote which I also like... "Alright, you primitive screwheads, listen up: THIS... is my BOOM STICK!"... as well as oodles of other cool quotes, and it is a GREAT film... I gotta go now. I'll be doing more updates soon! Promise! That is all.

3-4-01
not much new -- just some news. maybe some new pictures later from the set of love, liza. that quote was from mash. i go now. adding meta tags to all the pages.... thank you, good night.

2-2-01
howdy! ok, todays updates are all contained within the NEWS section! lots of good news... for NEW YORK people... why don't Phil do west coast theater? *sighs* I mean... for goshakes, he'll go to England... *winks* I mean... yeah, so do I have a quote for y'all today? I think I do... hang on... I just don't know why they're shooting at us. All we want to do is bring them democracy and white bread. Transplant the American dream. Freedom. Achievement. Hyperacidity. Affluence. Flatulence. Technology. Tension. The inalienable right to an early coronary sitting at your desk while plotting to stab your boss in the back. That's entertainment. *winks* ok... special cookies to whoever tells me where this quote is from!!! i go now. that is all.

1-30-01
Hey peeps.... ok, if you have information that compromises Phil's privacy for a prolonged period of time, please keep it to yourself and don't go posting it on the message board? It's really not necessary to know what hotel he's staying in this week. I mean, I don't anticipate a mob of stalkers, but it's the principle of the thing. All is forgiven this time naturally. BTW, peeps! Susanna is beating yo ASSES on the quotes thing!!! She knows that the last quote is from Dune!!! yay!!! i go now. That is all.

1-27-01
Heeeeeey Kiiiiiiids!!!! Howzitgoin'? Allrightee -- New pictures from Almost Famous [another Oscar ad!!! ::crosses fingers::] and lots of news!!! Yay for news! News rules!! Now I *personally* am very anxious to know *when* the new P.T. Anderson film will begin filming as it will presumably bring Phil to Los Angeles and *ahem* a certain Darcy lives out here on the West Coast and would dearly love to hang out with Phil ifyakowwhatimean.... Oh yes! And once again Susanna has grabbed this time's cookies for correctly opining that the quote from last update is indeed spaked by Groucho Marx in the kick ass film Duck Soup! So I will now... ummm... think of another quote!!! Ok, in what film did the AMAZING actor Brad Dourif utter the lines: It is by will alone I set my mind in motion. It is by the juice of Sapho that thoughts acquire speed, the lips acquire stains, stains become a warning. It is by will alone I set my mind in motion. and bonus cookies if you love Brad Dourif!!!! oh, and if you correctly guess the film which shouldn't be terrrrrrribly difficult! All rightee! that's all folks... ::rock the cradle of love::

1-17-01
*hee* howdy!! Ok, first off -- New pictures from: Magnolia, The Talented Mr Ripley, Almost Famous, State and Main, and Happiness. Then we have two new Lookalikes -- Francie finally forced my hand by sending a picture of Eddie Izzard that I could not resist! And apologies to Paul Andrews for slacking on adding him. ::sheepish grin:: And News that is GOOD!!! Yay!!!! And extra cookies to Susanna for getting the MALLRATS quote!!!! yay!!! Yup, the one about not know shit... and just because I love y'all I'll tell you that 'Thrall me with your acumen' is from Silence of the Lambs. Yup! I am a LecterWhore. ummm... *wink* sure, whatever. Right, so I was thinking of putting a quote in here from The Big Lebowski but since everyone is just itching for one those... I am thinking, dammit. Hang on... *mmmmm* I guess I'll resort to Movies from the 1930's... "Maybe you can suggest something. As a matter of fact, you do suggest something. You suggest a baboon. I'm sorry I said that; it isn't fair to the other baboons." and it's not a Charlie Chaplin film. Oh but haha, Darcy! Charlie Chaplin doesn't TALK in his movies from the 1930s!!! Every schoolchild knows that... good, go out and find me a schoolchild, I don't know that! *har har* Yeah. Good luck, chappies and chappettes [that takes care of most of you!].... Ummm it is one of the AFI's 100 Greatest Films of 100 Years. It's very funny. I love it. I love the people in this film. It's very good. Yeah, so bonus cookies to anyone who gets it! UBER-BONUS COOKIES!!!! Yay! Anyway, I had my job interview today so maybe i get job!!! YEEE! I go now. That is all.

1-7-01
It is later today... like, last update was in the am of today and now it is PM -- i have made new and matching headers for all the main pages as well as new buttons for the main page and put the images into a table instead of just having them... be there. no new quotes til SOMEONE at least guesses on the last ones and the freak who is emailing me and being creepy, please to fuck off, ok? i mean, if you think i'm phil or something, well -- i'm not. yukky people. i go now. toodlezoo.

1-7-01
NEWS! good news, comedy central, tv show thingee ma bob. and link thing. thank you to all contributors and every beautiful person who emailed me!!! Bonus cookies this round go out to JUSTIN!!! Yes, the admirable Justin managed to guess that the last quote is indeed from 'Waiting for Guffman' and so is this -- "I hate you and your ass face!" heee!!! That movie SERIOUSLY rocks your world. Yeah. Today's quote is..... ummm... "You're going to listen to something I said? Haven't I made it abundantly clear during the tenure of our friendship that I don't know shit?" and it's not from a Phil movie. Eventually I will get one from a Phil movie but i'm far too lazy for that at the moment. So guess away and thrall me with your acumen. In fact, tell me where "Thrall me with your acumen" is from while you're at it!!!! haha!!! and you only get the answer posted if someone guesses correctly. I go now. **toodlezoo** oh, addendum -- i've gotten this neato little device.... check it out...

I've hacked off some truly misc. pics into subcatagories to satiate your unquenchable curiosity for superhuman perfection. seriously, tho, a friend of mine found this site while looking for Phil stuff and hadn't even known it was mine!!! How awesome is that? eh??? Yeah... oh, and a bit of new, yes. Ok, sportsfans, cookies to those who guessed, but sadly the quote wasn't from The Big Lebowski like everyone thinks. **heehee** good guess though. here's today's quote: "I've been coming to this circle for about five years, and measuring it. The diameter and the circumference are constantly changing, but the radius stays the same. Which brings me to the number 5. There are five letters in the word "Blaine." Now, if you mix up the letters in the word "Blaine," mix 'em around, eventually, you'll come up with Nebali. Nebali. The name of a planet in a galaxy way, way, way... way far away. And another thing. Once you go into that circle, the weather never changes. It is always 67 degrees with a 40% chance of rain." guesses, anyone? it is not a Phil movie. it is not a Coen Bros, Kevin Smith or Quentin Taratino film either. It's not a John Hughes movie. It's not a Mike Myers film. Oh god, will they ever guess it? hehe... that is all!

Wow, the year is almost over... is anyone else out there just dying of joy and happiness every time they pass a magazine rack and see Phil's adorable little self smiling at you from the stack of GQ's? Yeah... it's beautiful... Anyway. *ahem* So I have jotted down some news regarding Empire magazine from whence I have the pictures, thanks be to Anne, and I will have the article transcribed for my next update. And I have a new pic from State and Main that is autographed and yes I *did* nab it off of ebay. I also have the pleasure of showing off a nice little button saying how cool my site is... yay! Bonus cookies to anyone who correctly guesses where this quotes is from: "Hell, I knew a guy who knew a guy, that guy crossed the Feds just like you did. Ten years later he's eatin' at the Jolly Troll Smorgusboard... BANG! He goes face-down into his tater-tots. Turns out a mother-humpin' heart attack just rocked his world. Coincidence? I think not." and I'll give you a hint... Phil didn't say it. That is all.

oooo -- i have the GQ article all typed up by myself and i can tell you now, peoples and stars, that was a labor of LOVE. ick. also, i have up the pictures from the article as well as the pics from Elle magazine -- accessible via the misc. pictures page. I also slapped up another picture from State and Main -- nothing you can't get by poking around the official site, i've no doubt, but I thought it might be nice to get some more pictures... if you're wondering why i'm not putting up the little ones from the official site -- i am holding out for the BIG versions... you know... the kind you can print out and tape up on your wall so ppl can ask you 'who the hell is THAT'... you know what i mean? yeah. so. and I've deleted all the old news stuff... now that i am dating the news it seems silly to keep all the old crap around... now the Phil news will become just like this site news... hehe... only a little less eccentric and wierd, eh? eh? yeah, that's right. you BEST recognize. anyhow, i am just happy happy happy with the way things are going now. that's all. off to update phil metro. peace out.

Hi all! Happy 2nd year anniversary to this site!!! WOO!!! *party hats and whistles** All right, what have I for you today? You lovely little contributing elves have been saving my butt once again! I have for you, thanks to Jen -- a new ARTICLE that is very cool as well as a news tidbit [LOT OF NEWS!!! Thanks to Jen and Natalie and other sources too that have gotten lost in the mix] and I have archived the site news once more for my convenience as well as yours and as a tangible log of the length and bredth of this site. Yes, the State and Main site *is* open and there *are* some little pics of Phil but unfortunately I downloaded them to my computer at school and I am home until after Christmas so new pictures archived to this site won't be happening for a while. Sorry! In the meantime, keep that news coming!! The article in the NEWS section from Natalie is KILLER!!! I love it!!! Take care, everyone, have a good winter vacation/Christmas/Hannukah/Solstice/Etc. That is all.
